Muchos de los verbos más usados del inglés no forman el pasado con -ed: go → went, have → had, see → saw. Son los verbos irregulares y hay que aprenderlos de memoria. La buena noticia: las negativas y las preguntas se forman igual que con los regulares, con did y el verbo en forma base.

3. Contar una experiencia
Una excursión
- First, we took the bus to the mountains.
- Then we walked for two hours and saw a lot of birds.
- After that, we had a picnic by the river.
- Finally, we came home very tired but happy.
Los conectores first, then, after that, finally ordenan los hechos y hacen tu texto más claro.
Recuerda
- Los irregulares tienen un pasado propio: went, had, saw, ate, bought…
- Misma forma para todas las personas: I went, she went.
- Negativa: didn’t + infinitivo (didn’t go).
- Pregunta: Did + sujeto + infinitivo (Did you go?).
- Ordena la narración con first, then, after that, finally.
