À l’écrit, on te demande souvent de donner ton opinion sur une question : « Should sport be compulsory at school? », « Are professional athletes paid too much? ».
- Explanation : pourquoi ? (because, since, as…)
- Example : un fait, une expérience, un cas concret (for example, for instance, such as…).
- Concluding sentence : on revient à la question (that is why, therefore…).
Paragraphe d’exemple rédigé pour ce cours
In my opinion, sport should remain compulsory at school. First of all, it is good for students’ health, because many teenagers spend hours sitting in front of screens. Moreover, team sports teach values such as cooperation and respect. For instance, in a basketball match, you cannot win alone. That is why I believe that PE lessons are as important as other subjects.
